Storing Necklaces

Sorry to sound like a total eejit but my friend has been around to "accessorise" my wardrobe (as I'm totally useless at the Trinny & Suzanne thing) and I now have a few necklaces which I didn't have before, but how do you store them without them getting all tangled up with each other! Its driving me nuts.

Thanks.

I hang mine over the bed post, but I don't have that many. I used to have a piece of wood on the wall with a row of hooks in that I just hooked them over.

Perhaps you could get/find one of those over door hook things for your wardrobe and store them on there?

My hubby put me little hooks up inside the wardrobe and I hang them all on individual hooks, so when I open the wardrobe I can see them all easily and no tangles:j

You can get some really nice decorative jewellery hangers which look good on your dressing table - I like the ones which look like dresses, you can pay about £20 for them in some shops but I managed to find one for a fiver in the January sales one year.

There are other less expensive ones around though, try searching "Jewellery Hanger" on google or ebay.

I use a small cork noticeboard with glass-headed dressmaking pins stuck in and hang the necklaces on the pins. Works great.

I hang mine on the crossbar of a trouser coat hanger, all colour coordinated with any matching bracelets. Anything without a clasp goes over the hook of the hanger.

Thanks! What a bunch of great, but simple, ideas.
