Hi, I'm new to this site and hope you can help.
I was made redundant in Sept 08 and unfortunately my mortgage went into 7 months arrears as did my car finance, however I started work again in late March 09. Neither mortgage or car finance were covered by payment protection, with my car finance covered financially by my company car allowance until my redundancy. I have since repaid the arrears on the car in full and will be able to repay the mortgage arrears in full in approx 4 weeks.
How do I best ensure that both lenders reflect my recovered financial position on my records?.
Thanks.0 -
Hi
I obtained my credit report from Equifax as I've recently been turned down for a loan and yesterday car finance.
On checking my report it's immediately clear that there's something seriously wrong with my current address details. All of my bank a/c's, credit cards and loans are being listed under my previous address and nothing is showing under my current address. The electoral roll section is also not showing my current address and is only listing my previous address. Under the current address section it just says 'n/a'.
I have changed my address details with my Bank and with my loan provider and yet nothing is appearing on my credit report under my current address, they are all still being listed under my previous address. I also contacted my local council to change my electoral roll details to my current address, but again nothing is showing on my credit report. This really is driving me mad as it seems that since I have nothing appearing under my current address I am unable to obtain any kind of credit.
Can anyone suggest the best course of action to get this issue resolved?0 -

Does anyone know whether Tesco Credit Card gives monthly reports to agencies? If so, who? I tried to check on annualcreditreport.co.uk and doesn't seem to be showing at all.0

Hi Voodoomox
I have not used annualcreditreport.co.uk - nor heard of it until now - and not sure I'd want to.

Welcome to MSE, ktstp!I have done a credit check and my rating is poor!
You cannot perform a credit check on yourself (Only lenders can do this.)
How have you assessed your credit rating? For peace of mind, I'd order a credit report, if you haven't already done so. For help, see page 1 of the *How to obtain credit reports* sticky. Experian sends explanatory notes which are a good read as well. Remember credit scores are at best a very rough guide and not worth paying extra forI had to take out an IVA of which I'm into the 3rd yearPeople who don't know their rights, don't actually have those rights.0
