Cheap wool/yarn - for all knitters

I have ordered from these a few times and they are very good. Payment is by paypal (handy!) and items are quick to door.

The "fashion yarns" such as shimmer and cosmic are only £1.50 per 50g ball, which is almost half price to what you pay in store/elsewhere.

Anyway - I thought I would post (1st one) as this site has saved me SO MUCH money, I should pass on my own tip.

Brilliant, thank you very much. Don't have a knitting shop here. The prices are excellent and postage & packing is free which is a bonus. Really into knitting those soft fluffy scarves so this is just what I need.

I've emailed them to ask - closed on Sundays & Mondays but as soon as I get a reply I'll post it here. BTW, I'm a scarf knitter too.... and socks!

"our returns policy is, if you don't like send it back and
we will credit you, no problems"

Thanks for this Jo, I have just knitted one of the scarves with Cosmic and Shimmer. The Cosmic cost me (from a local Shop) £2.99!! From Ems it is £1.60 and they say the normal price is £2.45.

Guess where I'm going to get the next lot of these yarns!

Thanks for this. Those fluffy wools have inspired me to start scarf knitting this winter. I just bought wool for my latest creation (!) yesterday at £2.49 a ball, but it's £1.95 on this site

I'll know where to shop next time anyway (although it will probably take me until summer to finish this one!)

Thanks for this site, it is certainly a lot cheaper than any other online retailer I can find. It has reignited my desire to knit again. The only problem is that I am going to end up buying a lot of stuff that I really shouldn't right before Christmas!
