    I have written and e-mailed a letter off to Lush today asking for some samples before I buy to make sure that it doesn't irritate my skin!

    I have asked LUSH for samples via email twice before as i get eczema and like you want to make sure it doesn't irritate my skin, and i have been told they can't send them through the post because of the cost but if you go into a branch near you they will give you some. :rolleyes:

    Hope you have more luck than me :j

    Lush and The Body Shop are good at giving samples in store. I have mystery shopped The Body Shop and they are meant to offer samples if relevant, eg if you're looking at shampoos/creams, as opposed to makeup (if makeup, they offer you a makeover). HTH someone.

    Samples from Nads (waxing)

    It was good and I have only been genuine in my requests and compliments

    I might pop into Lush and the Body Shop over the weekend and see what I can pick up for free then! Its my mum's birthday soon and I am going to make her a hamper of nice smelly stuff, so it would be great if I could get some of it for free!

    However, I e-mailed Walkers crisps yesterday stating that I am hosting a children's birthday party and will need to buy loads of packets of crisps, so could they, you know, help me out with that a bit...

    I'm not really expecting any great joy, but we shall see....

    I am thinking of using the same trick with Coca Cola, although I can only find a postal address for them and I have no stamps left :rolleyes:.

    I still haven't received anything from Walkers crisps, but I got an e-mail back from Pepsi saying;

    Thank you for your recent email regarding your donation request.

    We are sure you will appreciate, we receive many requests from various organisations, charity groups and individuals, seeking assistance with raffle prizes, vouchers, etc. Unfortunately, in this instance we are unable to help.

    May I take this opportunity to thank you for your interest shown in the Company and we wish you every success with your future.

    Regards

    Rubbish! I'm thinking of e-mailing back and saying 'Coca Cola gave me loads of vouchers for their products. What are you going to give me to stop me only buying Coca Cola in the future? Hmmmmm'.

    Incidentally, I haven't heard back from Coca Cola yet, but Pepsi don't need to know that! ;)
