Sorry for not adding this to the relavent post... but I can't find the post of the person who asked for low/free ways of making toys for their baby.
Well this book has loads of ideas for fun activities; things to do around the house & outside; how to make things that you would normally spend loads of money on.
For example it shows you how to make fancy dress costumes, post office, car station, dolls house, word games, numbers games, play dough, posting box, babies mobile, first toys,..... list things on a room by room bases with the items that can be used for you child to play and learn with... all these things using everyday items around the house.
It uses everyday objects around the house.
This book is great for giving you lots and lots of ideas on what to do with your pre-school child/baby.
Be a MSEer and order if from your library... but like me you might find that you will need to buy this resourceful book

I've had a copy of this book for a while now - I sell Usborne books as my job - and I have a feeling they're about to publish a new version of this title ... the same series has a title about teaching your child to swim, and there used to be one about teaching your child to read, too
If you know your local Usborne organiser, you might be able to persuade them to sell it to you cheaper than Amazon's rate (I know with my commission it cost me less than that, anyway) - it depends on who you know!Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 002 :rotfl:0 -
I can vouch for this book, it gives lots of great ideas0
