HSBC reduced my overdraft?!

Hello all,

I've recently just graduated, I found that without informing me HSBC have switched my account over to a graduate account. At the same time they have also reduced my overdraft by £250 even though I was using it. I am now naturally over my overdraft and they have told me that they will keep charging me £25.

How can they reduce my agreed limit without confirming or giving me notice?!

see the other thread and keep complaining. i got a second letter on the 22nd july and the 'new' came into effect on 19th july... they are a JOKE!

Thank goodness its not just me no wonder they won't talk to me on the phone!!

its one called 'hsbc overdraft no longer interest free' or summat to that effect. all?! graduate accounts moved to standard accs with no interest free period... even though on sign up it was a 3 year gradual reduction deal. now its apparently only 2 years...
