A&L internet banking details

I recently signed up for a savings account at A&L, and they said they would automatically sign me for interent banking and to expect a couple of letters in the post in the next few weeks. This was 2 weeks ago. Is this normal? How long should I wait before I start asking them where are my details.
Did you really mean to put loose?
Lose: no longer possess, not to retain, unable to find
Loose: not firmly or tightly fixed in place

Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. "so this post/thread has been moved to another board"
Great, where??0 -
Hmm, moved here maybe
I'm still waiting to receive mine too, everything else has arrived (telephone banking pin, card and pin, chequebook, account details etc). Their introductory booklet that they send out says that the internet logon and pin should arrive in "Week 2", so if you're at the end of that then maybe you should give them a call.
I'm in my second week as well, it's a little irritating because I want to start using it as my main account but have no control over it yet (it's the Direct account which you can only administer online). Plus I asked them to transfer my balance and payments from my old Barclays account, and then close the account for me - so I'm without a usable bank account right now :doh:0 -
same here, if they can't even get this right I don't think I'll be using them !0

When you try to log in to their internet banking page, it says:
If you have forgotten your Customer ID, Customer PIN or Password,
please contact us on 0845 300 2562 (please dial +4411 3220 1505 if calling from outside the UK
If my details don't turn up in the next day or so, I might give that number a call. Some of you who have been waiting longer might wish to do it sooner.0 -
I work 12 hour days most of the time, I don't have time to waste chasing up imcompetent companies. If they can't provide a requested service I will find somebody who will, plenty of them out there.0

My experience with A&L online banking is a bit different to yours. When I signed up I was inundated with mail from them for the first week and now I get nothing!
Going from my personal experience I would be tempted to ring them straight away and complain that you are unable to manage your finances without the logon/pin details.
You never know they may stick a few £ in your account if you complain strongly enough!FB :heartpuls Wiggly
