Taken from Website: August 9th to 17th, the East Lancashire Railway will be remembering when British Rail ran out of steam, with a special gala weekend on August 16th and 17th, featuring 1300, 47324, 71000 and 92214, alongside diesel hauled trains to represent the changeover from steam to diesel traction. The event will also feature the last two surviving coaches from that famous final train, M4933 and M4937 which are both based here on the ELR.
