Questions on Halifax Sharebuilder...

Can anyone with Halifax sharebuilder help me with these questions....

1. How much is stamp duty on shares purchases?
2. Would I also pay tax when I sell shares through the sharebuilder?
3. If I set up the direct debit for the minimum £20 per month and then (worst case scenario) lose my job so can't afford the £20 any more, what happens?

Cheers

M
