settlement figure - help

HI, i recently traded my car in to arnold clark, got 3400, settlement was 3000, thy said whats left over will get transfered in to your account from the finance people....
so i purchased a new car from there selfs.
phoned finance poeple wondering where my 400 yet and thy only recived the settlement figure! so foned AC and manager said it went two wards my new car and that the sales man would of never said i was gettin it?

but i said more than once.... so that 400 will get transfered off the settlement and in to account YIP!!!!!

so pist off, gessing theres nothing i can do??

what does it say on your invoice?

yea thats why am pist off, its on the invoice but when i spoke to them before hand and during thy still made it clean i would get it and never said once that it would go onto new car... i even paid a deposit!
before you ask my mum signed for the car cos i cant get credit.

I think it's not whether they got the money, but how the money is represented then. perhaps I will never know.
