Hi all,
I have a website that I am working on with my partner. He has registered this site as a sub domain.
his main site is https://www.partnerssite.com (made up name)
when i search for my site (lets call it https://www.mysite.co.uk) it appears as
https://www.partnerssite.com/mysite.co.uk
how can i change it in google so it just comes up as https://www.mysite.co.uk in the searches?
thanks in advance

Do you actually own the www.mysite.co.uk domain (and therefore having it forward to your partner's site)? If so then I don't think there's anything you can do. You could forward it in frames (depending on whether your registrar offers that service) and then put appropriate metatags in the domain (but google still wouldn't search the site itself and you'd have two separate listings, one for your partner's site and one for your domain, where they come depend on the tags you use etc). Only way around it really is to have the domain hosted separately."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Does https://www.partnerssite.com/mysite.co.uk actually exist?
What does a google search for site:mysite.co.uk turn up?
Sounds more like a page-rank problem where https://www.partnerssite.com/mysite.co.uk, if it does exist, ranks higher than the actual mysite.co.uk.Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries0 -
best add ww.mysite.co.uk (use actual name) to the meta tags on each page of your site.. this should improve the rating at least..Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..
Sometimes seen lurking on the compers forum :-)0
