Could someone point me to a tutorial on...

Hi all,

People talk about downloading videos, music, films etc from the net and I would love to learn how to do it. I would also like to learn about the different types of files eg DivX etc what they are suitable for and how you convert one to another.

Anyone help?

Appreciate your help for this neanderthal!!

Cheers Si

    and many more
    google is the best option
The orginal post in this thread has a very very slim chance of being about money saving. The post is more than likely to ask a question that google could answer better than any of us.

    Many things fund terrorism.

And piracy funds many things other than terrorism.

You're linking two things that have some connections but are not inter-dependent.

(I'm not defending piracy, here; I'm defending integrity in reasoning.)

It used to be organised crime, then drugs, now terrorism.

Funny how these things always change to match the current bogeyman of the day, isn't it?

Piracy as we know it now funds nothing. The files are free to download, people who pirate things are paying nothing, therefore they can't be funding anything!
Paying for dodgy software, however, is completely wrong. If you're going to pay, pay the people that made it, or get it another way.

You wouldn't shoot a Policeman and then steal his helmet. You wouldn't go to the toilet in his helmet, and then send it to the Policeman's grieving widow, and then steal it again. Downloading films is stealing; if you do it you WILL face the consequences!

The funding that is of prime concern to the F.B.I is that of its own budget.

Integrity of reasoning is extremely low on its list of priorities.
