Help needed with Netgear wireless internet connection

I am try to set up the Netgear DG834GT & WT111T combination that many from this site bough recently, but I'm having trouble.
The installaton wizards seem to have installed everything ok, inasmuch as icons tell me I'm connected and what speed I'm connecting at. I can't however get any internet access thru my browser or connect to the DG834GT (to upgrade firmware fo example)

I'm running Windows XP Sp2 andI don't have an ethernet connection on my Dell 3000 so it may be the wireless installation is the problem.
It's my first attempt at any wireless or network stuff although I've upgraded my memory and hard drive in the past so I'm not totally non techie. ( I do feel like I am just now though)
Any help welcome. Meanwhile I shall trawl through the many and large previous threads on this subject some more.

Firmware upgrade got it sorted in the end. Only took me 4 hours to figure out how to do it ;-)
