Hiya....I've been comping since February, but only in fits and starts!

July was the first month that I really sat down and put in some mega effort and I ended up having quite a good month!

Its definately worth putting in the time, and I'm sure it's been said loads of times before, but the more competitions you enter then more chance you have of winning!
I only enter the compys that are of use to me, family or friends as gifts or whatever so I find myself very rarely entering ticket or holiday competitions, apart from the Legoland ones that is - Would love to take the kids there but its so expensive, so I keep enterting those ones!

I personally get a little down when I have managed to enter so many competitions on the 30th and 31st and draw a blank, and I do get a little envious at some of the people on here when I see what they have won on their siggys!!

It's late and I've gone on a bit so I'll shhh now!

Best of luck and definately stick at it if you got the time! :D

Dont give up you have to be in it to win it is what i say, i have only been comping a few months and do it cause i love it. i only enter the prizes i would like and always do the ending today ones, i received a letter the other day to say i have won £250 with real people magazine it makes it all worth while even though i mainly do it for fun.

I guess you were amazingly lucky with your first win, but if you enter for nothing but the big stuff it's unlikely you'll win much. Keep going though! :)

    hey all,
i was gonna just post the same sort of message but found this thread.
I was starting to feel down till i read the messages here, i worked out 2day ive entered over 600 comps (which have now all ended) and i still havent won a single thing. Thought it might just be me but obviously not. I enjoy seeing all the comps though so im still gonna try, its fun being in this forum and speaking to nice new people who are doing the same thing. So although im not winning like i see quite a few people are its just nice to be in with a chance and all i can do is keep trying :)
