blocking up an internal doorway - North Wales

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could give a ballpark figure for the cost of blocking up an internal doorway, and creating another? This is to move the entrance under the stairs 90 degrees- currently it opens out into the Kitchen, but this is incovenient, as it take up a lot of space in an already small room. By blocking this opening up and opening the space into the living room instead, it would be a better use of space. It's a terraced house, built in the late 1960s
Thanks
