Top spec pc for £300, it partly second hand but the parts are quite new beacause of the spec, I guess maybe the cpu could be upto a year old. Only the hard drive & cd/dvd player really wear out (moving parts) but a 160gb sata is reletively new technology.
I'm comparing with when you buy a second hand car but it's only a few months old & you get it for near half price.
Usually they stick a new mouse & keybrd & maybe case so it will feel like new.
There's no monitor with it so add £150 - 200 if your comparing it with other systems.
With microchips there's nothing to break down, they can be faulty if they were made that way in the factory.
A good system for £300 you won't get near that price if you built it yourself. I guess there making a loss on this offer but then it's your gain.

I think that you could make that price if you built it yourself, I spent only a little more than that on a Silent case and and athlon 3000+ 64 bit machine, buying bits from ebay and overclockers.

Looking at it again they might mean that "not specified" not part of the deal.
It's not necessarily high spec, if your'e want mainly to play the latest games.
It's got the important things, but windows 64bit edition is coming out next year and will be the new standard it might be outdated sooner than you think.
