Need help to occupy my 7 year old in the school hols

Hi
wanted to know if anyone had ideas to keep my 7 year old occupied during the school hols. He is computer mad but I restrict his time on this as I don't think it's good for him. we have been doing some day trips as a family (i have 2 older daughters and hubby) but when we are at home he is getting bored really quickly. he has lots of toys but has never really played a lot with them at all I think these holidays are hitting him hard because his older sisters are off out and about with their friends hence no one to play with. we have thought about inviting friends over but can't do this everyday please help me before i tear my hair out. Not sure if I have written all this on the right board but thought I would give it a go here please help:j

You could tie him up with the washing line and see how long it takes him to get out from it ??(only kidding folks!!)

Now i have the same prob(a 7yr old and a 3yr old),so im having a trampoline delivered next week.
Now we only have a yard,so got the 8ft one,im hoping that come nxt week i can ask them very nicely to go out side and play, and give me some peace!

However just come bk from town, spent just over 3 quid for paints and paper, and they sat on the kitchen table good as gold like butter wouldnt melt........Till the paper runs out i bet.

I always say, never invite too many kids round, its just too stressful, for you and your child.
maybe you could take him to the library as i know they have loads stuff on during the schools hols, took mine last yr to loads different things and they loved it,was a little boring for me but it kept me de-stressed,as they had a good time and wasnt nagging me all the time.

Try downloading and printing off some activites for him to do. (A bit of extra homework to keep his brain working)

Paint Always works as has already been said.

Have you got a video camera? Get him to make his own home movies with his toys (Kept my 7yr old quite for hours)

Got an old Argos Catalogue? Let him do an xmas list

    Brains gone blank.....

My MIL has been minding my youngest and his cousin.
She sais she gave them both a scrap book and cup out pictures from the old Argos. Has kept them both entertained for hours, glueing them in. -Why don't I ever think of anything like that.
