Hi,
Could anyone point me in the right direction of some websites that will guide me through php. I will be applying this to my website, yet i have no prior knowledge, so the 'less jargony' websites would be great.
My website will contain data which i want the user to find quickly and easily. I would like something similar to 'call checker' on this website. So using the callchecker as an example- you select Spain, and results are returned from cheapest to dearest. Also these results are displayed in a nice concise frame, which is what i am after also.
Any help, advice or pointers would be great.
Thanks for any help given

haven't used it for a while but this was always a really good site for all sorts of dev stuff."Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first." (Mark Twain)0 -
There is obviously the manual at php.net, and likewise mysql.com - I am also a moderator at a hugely popular site for PHP - PHP Freaks.com The forums there are excellent, very knowledgable people there. There is also MySQL Freaks.com which is not as popular, but still a great resource.0

This is a nice book which you can view online for free or buy from Amazon, very much step by step:
