halo 3 disk trouble

hiya, i couldnt see a dealling with complaints section so i thought tech might be able to help. about 6months or a year ago (i cant remember) i baught the special edition of halo 3 for the xbox 360. and just recently due to the case it comes in the cd cracked in the centre so the xbox cant read the cd. so i phoned xbox support and was told about a replacement disk service which costs £10 for a new disk. ive missed a deadline they set around feb for free replacement of halo 3 disks and im not keen on having to buy something again due to a fault with the disk storage case (so i cant be the only one this happened to, every person with the metal case would eventually break the disk)
is there anythign that could be done about this? i asked the person on the phone if i could speak with the disk replacement centre and he siad they didnt have a phone number or email address, and i couldnt be passed on to anyone else becuase noone else could help me.
is there an offical complaints watchdog or propper channels that i could go through? thanks for any all help
(would pics help showing whats happened?)
