Household insurance and dog chewing

Pup has chewed a very large noticeable hole in my sofa, and the position of it means it would be very difficult to repair.

I have accidental damage on the house insurance, but can i claim?

Would like to see what you think

many thanks

(pup got castrated yesterday so feeling very sorry for himself, probably thinks he's being punished)

Pretty sure there is a clause in my policy that says they will not pay out for damage caused by pets and I have accidental damage cover but check your policy document.

Most household policies won't cover it, some pet insurance policies will. You'll need to check your documents.
When I had my loft converted back into a loft, the neighbours came around and scoffed, and called me retro.

    Hi
You could claim from the dog insurance if you have some .
