it means what it says on the tin.
you've got a network card in there with nothing plugged into it.0 -
Nothing to worry about, I have the same message. If you are connected to NTL via USB rather than a LAN port, you probably do not have a cable plugged into your LAN port.:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

On this forum it says:-
"Check the "advanced properties" for the network card and make sure that use power management" (ie:sleep type mode) is not enabled on the NIC. Typically, when a NIC uses the "sleep mode"...if the NIC goes to "sleep"...so does your netwoek connection(s)".Torgwen..........

Tight click on the 'Twin-tellys' icon in the Sys Tray that has the little red cross and the network unplugged message.
From the right-click select Status -> Properties. At the bottom of the Properties pane uncheck "Show icon in notification area when connected" and uncheck "Notify me when this connection has limited or no connectivity"

Yes make sure it's a tight click, with a loose one your mouse will be uncontrollable! :rotfl:Toxteth_OGrady wrote:Tight click on the 'Twin-tellys' iconTorgwen..........

Are you by any chance using Spybot Teatimer install? I've seen this message come up on the boys machine even when everything (network/internet/everything) is working fine. I marked this down as a bug with his version of Spybot rather than a system problem.
After I upgraded his version of Spybot, the messages stopped.
Just a thought................How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?
