I've been long term bear, but I am now seeing cash rich investors preparing themselves to buy, indeed some are buying now.
You may be right, but will they be buying in sufficient numbers to affect the market in any major way?
The HPI hysteria of the last few years was caused by huge numbers of highly leveraged BTLers and every Tom !!!!!! and Harry on 14k a year queuing up to buy houses, not by 'cash rich investors', I would have thought.'Never keep up with Joneses. Drag them down to your level. It's cheaper.' Quentin Crisp0 -
During the last slump, every spring for 5 years or so there were articles about 'now maybe the market is turning'. Of course, eventually, it did turn, but not because of those articles. It turned because wages had risen, prices had fallen, and everything was back in line again. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
