Is anyone an expert with electric garage doors?

Hi there
We have a roller electric garage door at home which due to my own stupidity I manage to knock out of where the roller bit sits- if that makes sense
Now me and my friend have managed to get it back into place but on the side where the motor is that turns the roller to put the door up/down there are 2 trianglar bits of metal that we think hold the motor in place so that it either doesn't spin round itself and pull the electric wire or so that it allows the roller to turn.
So am wondering a few things
1) Am I correct in my assuumption on what those bits of metasl do and if so do I need to put them back in place and where?
2) Am I best to get a repair company out to check it out to be on the safe side? (concerned as door is quite old that will be tried and sold a new one)
Any help appreciated

Hello dondo
No, I'm not an expert but we do have a double sized electric (roller door) garage door. It is approximately 13 years old and ealier this year it became faulty.
We called out the experts and they fixed it for us and never tried to persuade us to have a new door/mechanism fitted either.;)

Just theought of a further question- if we do need it repaired can anyone recommend a good place in Leeds?0

Right- further inspection in daylight makes me thinkthat I will need to remove the triangular piece of metal- only problem nois the screw is very very stubborn!!!0

Hooray- managed to fix it of sorts- the doors go up and down now but unfortunately don't seem to go as high as they did previously
I need to somehow adjust it manually I think but no clue how to do it0
