Broken phone-not fixed!

Hello, can anyone offer any advice on this problem.

My granddaughters mobile phone was broken, as it was still under guarantee she took it back to CPW , it was in the shop for repair for 14 days, when she collected it she waited until she got home to check it, and the screen was still not working, she couldnt get anything up although the lights on the 'keyboard' were all lit.
What is the next thing to do, take it back and complain and give them another chance to repair it/demand a replacement/seek compensation?
anyone else had problems with this company?

amazes me how phone shops keep doing this, clearly the phone sat on a shelf for two weeks and has not been repaired.
I would go back to the shop and speak to the manager, if that's not possible then give them a call, failing that head office.

they should also be able to provide a receipt or audit trail of the phone and it's whereabouts, what repairs were carried out, who checked it and when I presume?
Remember the time he ate my goldfish? And you lied and said I never had goldfish. Then why did I have the bowl Bart? Why did I have the bowl?
  • What was wrong with the phone originally? x

clue - and the screen was still not working ;)
  • Ahh, it was in there somewhere :)

I was mostly wondering how it came to be broken? Was it dropped or anything? Or one of the typical screens where they're just suddenly kaput! x
