Its free listing day tomorrow on ebay so if possible do it then to save even more money!
Type up listing in word today/this evening and then won't take as long to list it tomorrow.
We sold stuff on ebay and really helped made over £300.
good luckZoe

Hi- sounds like a plan to me. Just a couple of thoughts from me.
Electric - have you checked whether you are in credit or not with them? It is quite a low direct debit and would hate you to find you owe loads - especially with prices going up - an extra £5 or £10 a month now will be so much easier to find than £50 or more - anyway I hope I am wrong and you use a tiny amount of electric.
Mobile - contract or PAYG? if contract when does contract run out?
Also worth doing a full SOA as you will need to allow for all the things you do during the year - you will need to put a little away for Christmas/birthdays/summer holidays/mot's/car repairs etc.
Good Luck

zowoods: great tip re: Ebay. Will list them tomorrow instead!
dancingfairy: electricity is a new account and my first quarter bill was only £45 so I thought £30 was fairly safe ... I'll check after a couple of months and make sure I don't owe them anything!
Mobile is on contract and I've still got 15 months to run - dammit!
I'll definitely get on and do a proper SOA so that I don't forget about all the other bits and pieces.
Thanks again everyone!Evil debts: £500 Halifax One CC (16%), £500 Ulster Bank CC (19%), £500 Halifax OD (16%), £850 A&L OD (0%)

It's just the winter I was thinking of. Our bill is only £22 a month (well it was until they just put the prices up) but we are not sure how much to allow for heating it in the winter - our place is pretty warm but we have storage heaters and like you have only been in our place a few months so not sure how much they will cost us. Sounds pretty good on the electric front to me then.Making my money go further with MSE :j
