Wii fit - Stock/where to buy

After last week's activity with play.com it almost looks like stocks have almost dried up! Very few people reporting seeing any in the stores, etc.

I would say that your best bet right now is amazon in Germany or France.

A huge thank you from me. I only decided I wanted one of these last week. First place I looked was this thread and I clicked on the play.com link....one appeared in my basket, so I chanced it and placed the order. It was delivered yesterday (£69.99) and I am now enjoying step aerobics.

hmm this doesnt look good i feel like i've left it too late to get one for crimbo for my girls (cant believe i've ust said that when its oly september), it seems the initial reports that the wii fit wil be the top selling toy this christmas is right. I hope someone gets some stock soon, seems a lot of people are after these things.

I have just ordered one from Game but they only seem to be available in packages, as I am starting from scratch, that was ideal for me! I found www.wiifitshop.net which has them available at a discounted price, but payment had to be by bank transfer or using an online payment company (cant remember the name) and it put me off a bit. Has anyone used them and can recommend?

that seems a really dodgy site, why would they be selling the wii fit for £49.99!! i'd be careful (really careful) about buying something from them.

I keep saying this but no-one seems to listen ......... why not buy from Amazon in France or Germany? Extremely easy to do, you pay about a fiver more than the UK RRP but that includes shipment to the UK.

A no brainer if you ask me.

argh! run away! wouldnt touch that with a mile long pole! sounds way too risky! seems too good to be true and it probably is!

Since when? Amazon Germany still have them in stock at 87.95 Euros.

Amazon france have them too at 88.99 Euros, but there's a note saying that they are in short supply yet they aim to re-stock quickly.

So what's the problem?

From what I can see they have only been up and running since 3rd Sept, no address details on website only a contact form
