I've been looking for a Wii Fit for a couple of days. Tried Argos constantly but see that people are selling their reservation codes for £4.99 a go on eBay so no wonder there aren't any available! Rang Toys R Us but the women couldn't have been less interested. Try HMV when they allegedly had stock but the site had crashed. My local Gamestation helpfully suggested I rang at 9.05 am each day to see if one was coming in their order that day but I have to work!
I started using the tracker sites yesterday morning but was having no success. However, today I spotted that http://www.!!!!!!!!!!!.co.uk/wii-fit.aspx had different firms on the tracker to the others. At 13.44 their (loud) alarm rang to say that Powerplaydirect.com had stock at £69.99 delivered. No sign of any quidco or Nectar points so I didn't mind the direct click as it cost me nothing. I had to register before I could order but got one! It comes tomorrow. Now I've had to order the Wii too as I didn't have one and thought I would wait for the Wii Fit. Bizarrely it looks as though the Wii Fit will be here first. I'll just have to stand on it whilst it's disconnected and read the manual. :rotfl:
I ordered my Wii from Amazon (with Nectar Points) as they had a deal where you get Carnival free (I love Kentucky Derby) and adding Wii Play from them gained me an extra remote with the game for £27.98 which is cheaper than buying a remote on it's own. I did get another Nunchuck so there's proper two player playing of some of the games available and also got a SanDisk for Wii 2GB SECURE DIGITAL (GAMING) memory card for £5.81 as I hate losing my place in a game.
Have other people got the skins for the remotes or the Balance Board? What about carriers. I don't want to buy rubbish that wears out.0 -
Hooray!! :j After weeks of searching, my wii fit that I ordered from Play on 03/08 just arrived!
Only problem - it's for my hubby's birthday on 1st Sept, so I can't open it or play on it til then!!!0 -

The link doesn't work. As you didn't have the Wii yet, you should not have struggled that much as there are few bundles around at the same cost as Wii+Wii Fit.
I bought my Wii in store during the weekend (had to do it there and then, as my OH was very sceptical on getting one and I was already asking one for a month or so, so, I got him to say yes and bought it there and then!), and there were no bundles with Wii fit instore, so I am on the hunt for Wii Fit now! With a few rules - pay no more than £69.99 and get free delivery! Will need to review the rules over the next few days, probably....Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
I managed to get one from Argos Wood Green. Did a ring and reserve yesterday at 6.45pm (just after the store closed) and got one. Have been looking for months!

Personally i think that the rrp wont go up.
It will be a rumour and all the shops know that wii fit is in short supply even now.
Ive just sold my wii fit as i never used it.
Theres too much hype and people wanting it which pushes the demand up.
Thus stores like currys, woolworths and game doing bundle deals so theyre making as much money as possible and not the £70 for wii fit.0
