Thanks for the heads up about the John Lewis bundle. After 2 days of searching the net and refusing to pay over GBP100 just for the Wii Fit, I've just snagged one of their bundles. At least I hope I have.

Stupid isn't the word, I ordered a package on Monday on line from Play.com for 249.99 it said it was in stock, that was the console and the wii fit package, but as I entered my name differently to the account to how its spelt on my card they took my order in the evening but then the next day cancelled the order because of the discrepancy, however as I worked late the next day I wasn't aware until I got home and checked my emails and saw the problem...so I went back onto the site and re-entered my name correctly for the payment and ALAS it seems that the package was no longer available it was out of stock...BUT I could purchase the same thing from Playtime.com which is some sort of sellers market via Play.com for £290 !!! funny that aint it!!
So I purchased just the console and a game from play.com for £169.99 and will try and get the wii fit seperatly however, everywhere that was advertising the wii fit for 69.99 has suddenly run out of stock but have more stock in a slightly different package at £100 +
I smell a rat on this one!! seems everywhere that has it advertised for 60 - 70 quid has suddenly run out of that stock but have it with a slightly different package for 100 quid plus!!! John Lewis was the lowest at £97 that was for the Wii Fit and Wii Fit kit combined!0 -

John Lewis was the lowest at £97 that was for the Wii Fit and Wii Fit kit combined and was only the lowest because they had updated their site for the new 15% VAT!
Not suddenly, its been happening for many weeks.0 -

Really Lorian, I didn't know...in fact its the first time I have looked at these for a Christmas present for someone!!
Damn if I hadn't of ordered it now knowing this, I would refuse to go buy it and hell if everyone did the same then they would be out of business!!0 -

Just managed to pick one up from my local Comet :j The guy went off for 5 minutes and had a bit of a discussion with a couple of other people there but then came back, apologised for taking so long and went off to get my Wii Fit for me.
While I was paying he mentioned I was lucky and that they don't normally sell them individually. I just acted dumb and said the website had let me.
I used a slightly different method to before. I'll see if I can replicate the reserving process and I'll post the method on here if it works..
