I spoke to a lady at Toys r Us website. She said that the order had not gone thru because there was so many people trying to order at the same time. She said the money seems to go out as they reserve the money in the account but it will go back into the account in 72 hours.

Looks like it is back to searching for one!

If anyone knows where there are some in or around Manchester please let me know

Ah well, back to the search.

Edinburghlass, I`ve just got back from our Tesco and have got Wii with free Wii play £179.99 there was nothing on the shelves and the girl thought there was only an offer for a free game..but when she checked I could have the play. thats it now only took 2 hours and sorted, all games can hnow be bought by daughter from her Xmas money!
Thanks for everyones postings and advice don`t know how I ever managed before these forums xx

Well done, thats the package I bought too for the extra controller and my daughter assured me the games with Wii Play were fun as well. They will keep us going for sure and will check the January sales for other games.
  • Spent today with similar problems to others wity Toysrus and John Lewis then walking home tonight at 5pm popped into HMV Sauchiehall St Glasgow and Hey Presto - several Wii Fits on the shelf behind the counter!! At last - got one. Good luck everyone else.:j

We just got a Wii and Wii fit for FREE with our new mobile phone contract.

Its on next day delivery we ordered our new phone yesterday and the phone Wii + Wii fit arrived today.

We always get our phones from dialaphone and our new contract is on orange. (i think im allowed to tell you that)

Its an older phone but we realised that even with the lastest phone we never used 1 of the gadgets on the phone. We realised we would use the Wii more. So got the older ohone and a Wii + Wii fot instead of the newest phone out as it too will be old by next week.

So worth a look if your contract is up for renewal this month or next.

i just bought a wii fit in HMV in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent. They are all behind the till. They said they only have a few in each day, so be sure not to wander around the store looking for one as someone else may beat you to it. Go straight to the tills!
