I have been try to find a Wii fit for months. I am on a few shops reserve lists and check with the stock checkers every day, but I finally ordered through Amazon France yesterday for £73.53. You have to be careful (do not click on the one click button ) You have to be registered with Amazon. Make sure its Amazon your buying from and not from the market place. I have cut and pasted some info that helped me. There are no language problems. Wii fit from France, 4 things
    1) Manual for wii ft board is in 11 languages 1st being English.(this has how to look after/trouble shooting problems etc)
    2) Glossy Game Manual is in French but English version can be down loaded from Nintendo site
    3) Board uses batteries so NO plug adapter needed.
    4) AS your console will be setup for English (mine is & I live in France). All games with English on them will automatically play the English version. Wii fit- is a 5 language version inc English.

As for Germany, should be the same only gaming manual my only be in German. Both .de & .fr have all your UK login details/address/card details so shouldnt be a problem using it. Just double check it is coming from Amazon not a market place. I checked both sites yesterday & they had stock.
If you go to site a type Wii fit , it should come then click on basket sign and should be same layout as UK.

On French site - some translations-
Disponibilit! : En stock. Exp!di! et vendu par Amazon.fr. Emballage cadeau disponible.= In stock and sold by Amazon.fr
Ajouter au Panier= add to basket
    Passer la commande= check out
    Votre Compte = Your Account
    Supprimer- Is delete
Mettre Dans La Panier= save till later
Vous êtes d!jà client et votre mot de passe est= Basically You are an existing Customer so type in Your password.
( If you have a UK account, you are already recognised by the French...You are not a new customer)
    Hope this helps

P.S United Kingdom in French is : Royaume-Uni Good luck
  • Thanks for that, very helpful.

Can anyone confirm whether or not the German Wii Fit has any English instructions?

Also, why does amazon France state a 1 to 3 week delivery, even though they apparently have stock?

The manual will be in German but you should be able to down load the English instructions from the Nintendo site.

How long did it take to get one from amazon.fr??? We're all ready to order one but will it really take 3 wks? Is it likely to take longer??
  • I remember when people were ordering Wii's from France last year - most of the time (before Amazon stopped shipping them to the UK) they were taking about a week to arrive. My hunch would be that the same would apply to Wii Fit's ordered from Amazon France. Perhaps the 1 to 3 weeks (which applies to buyers in France too) would be just to cover themselves.

Just a quick line to say thanks to a kind MSEer, who let me have an Argos reservation he couldn't take up. Collected by friends in that town, and will be with me tomorrow.

i used 3 different ones rather than just relying on one and some times one would alert me and the others wouldn't so worth having more than one real time alert
  • What I mean is that https://www.wiistockcheckers.com provides links to ALL the main automated stock checker sites, so I find it useful to go there first to check if any more sites have appeared and then go to some of the sites listed for stock alerts. The site is also providing an increasing amount of really useful Wii Fit information so it's worth a visit just for that. I really like it - nice and friendly too.
