Wii fit - Stock/where to buy

I'd ignore catalogs like Littlewoods, Kays, etc as it's unlikely that they'll be able to get them to you by Xmas.

I've just received my Wii Fit purchased from AMAZON.DE. Including postage from Gemany was approx £77. Far cheaper then I could find in the UK. The German Amazon site is identical in layout to the UK one & username & passwords are the same. It might be handy if your not familiar with Amazon to have a German-English translation site handy. They adivised me they had no stock & I would receive with in about 28 days. I received it 15 days after my order! The only drawback was the Wii Fit instructions book is in German. However, the game instructions are all multilingual. When you load the game in takes the language of the Wii so everyone is in English! I know other people have also bought from France & further afield far cheaper than rip off Britain.

Can we push the Play.com order farce any further ,id be happy for anyone to quote my ref of an example as posted on the 17th .Just for the note i managed to get one in Plymouth Gamestation for 79.99 with a silicon cover which is not as bad as some of the bundles being forced on you and it would protect the wii board pretty good.Good luck for everyone trying to get one but i am still very annoyed at the cloak and dagger secrecy from play.com.

I am going to ring them tomorrow. I will be mentioning that others have the same problem so it is obvious that it is thier mistake.
It would be interesting to find out how many people have been affected by this.

This is really outrageous ... how can they mess it up big time ! still waiting for the Wii Fit dispatched on the 17th .. got upset and cancelled Wii Jog and Wenger Bag order ... thanks Play.com

Good luck. When I phoned them last week I said that several people on another website had been complaining about the same problem of non-delivery & the girl was quite dismissive and basically said that they wouldn't take notice of another website! Well excuse me- but it's a massive problem for those of us who have had money taken from our credit cards!
I've written a very strongly worded letter demanding an explanation & immediate refund which I will be posting Recorded delivery tomorrow. :mad:

Just a thought- do you think it would be a good idea to start a new 'Play.com Wii Fit Fiasco thread?; That way we could find out easily just how many of us have been affected and monitor any results? If anyone else thinks this is a good idea, any ideas where it should be, rather than under Grabbit?

Plenty of wii fit in stock at viking direct as of now.... HTH

I for one certainly would even though i know have a wii fit its about principal for me now ,i dont like the fact that i ordered with what i thought was a decent company and the way they have treated people is a disgrace with not giving tracking numbers etc .I wouldnt be at all surprised if there are a load of people that are waitng the specified 21 days as it says on the play website .Its ended up costing me £15 more to get one as i had the £5 voucher at play and it cost 79.99 in Gamestation.Pretty new to all this so i wouldnt know where to post it but there is a major problem with this issue and something very fishy going on ..they all cant be lost in the post ,as i say i am quite happy to provide my order number for anyone to quote.

I had exactly the same problem with Play and Nintendo DS last December. I ordered 6 in various colours and was charged for all which were allegedly despatched and never arrived. Took loads of phone calls to get a refund in the end, not nice them having £500 of my money at Christmas and also letting down a number of Children with Christmas presents. I've not used them since and never will.
