What with these assorted stores suddenly getting delivieres, is the Wii Fit shortage about to end, or is this just a temporary blip?
It's appears just to be the normal Wii cycle, a shipment has come in this week so there is a scattering of stock across the country but it doesn't usually last.

Hi all, just wanted to let you all know a little tip to get back at these t*ssers on Ebay selling Argos reservation codes.

I seen someone selling 2x Wii fit reservation codes for my local Argos this morning on Ebay for £4.99 a pop. I phoned my local stores concerned and they phoned head office and cancelled the reservations and gave one Wii fit to me!!

Soooo if you want a wii fit, take a look on Ebay and see if your local store is listed. If so, give your store a ring, and they will cancel the reservation code and put it aside for you!!!

Turns out that my local store only had 2 in stock, and the guy had reserved both of them!

Anyways, got mine now so im ready to play and the rat race is over for me!!

    Hope this helps!!

wow... that's odd.. when ever I reserved a Wii Fit with Argos they cancelled it straight away - I've heard on the web that they do this all the time!
I even sat on a bus for an hour to get to the branch with my reservation email which was a total waste of time!
got mine in Paris in the end... with the difference in Euros it cost me £74.59 - had to cart it back on Eurostar.. it's suprisingly heavy when you are tired :rotfl:

  • talking to a manager in cex yesterday and he said game have recieved a batch of 500 wii fits, and onthe back of it, he recommended to his head office that they drop their trade in prices. i checked today and its down from £84 to £69...
so maybe there's some truth in it...

    try game is my suggestion.
  • Noticed that best high street also have a link to the wii fit plus board for about £115 plus delivery at http://www.besthighstreet.com/videogames.html, but don't know how much the board usually costs and whether that is a better deal than their front page wii fit only for just under £100. They do seem to be in stock at 25th September though.

Just phoned play, being emailed a form, got to sign it and send it back for a refund.

Something a bit amiss with everyone that was posted on 17th to not have arrived!

Exactly the same happened to me last week still waiting for my refund.
  • Gamestation in Walsall (next to Tesco in arcade) have them in stock, but they are charging £89.99 for them, this includes a yoga mat and a silicon cover though.
