Called Amazon UK to see if they could assist me or put me in the right direction. Useless...gave me a number to call in Germany that doesn't even exist.

You probably already know this but Amazon.de have an English speaking contact form as well: http://www.amazon.de/gp/help/customer/display.html?ie=UTF8&nodeId=505562 . They will reply back to you in English.0 -

Well Scrat, why bother to mention it then. I'm sorry but i can do without that kind of attitude when at the moment i'm practically joined at the hip to my pc trying to find one of these bloomin things, because i refuse to be forced into buying an expensive bundle when all i want is the wii fit by itself for £69.
If money was no object, then yes, they would be easy to get hold of
They *ARE* easy to get hold of if you know how. You just need to broaden your options. Everyone seems to be looking at a few websites and then assuming they are not around at all.
Go into your town, ask Game, Gamestation, Toys R Us, HMV, Zavvi and any other stores you think are selling it for their phone numbers and when they may get deliveries. Then call them, daily if need be, most stores are getting 5-10 a week, you just need to be patient and keep trying
I've had 9 now for friends by this method, (I'm the only one who can get into town at lunchtime so I can pick them up). If you are just waiting on a stock checker then your in a race with thousands of others, go into town and you only racing a few dozen people.0 -
And there are far easier ways than that too which have been mentioned here a great many times, ie Amazon in France and Germany.0

bought the game before the machine?
why not just buy a stepping board from argos?
from the day it was announced until probably the day i'm pushing up the daisies, i will never get my head around why people would buy wii fit, when you have an entire planet to run around for free.helpful tips
it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)0 -
