Grabbed one from Tesco - was in stock for next day delivery - I was quick after seeing earlier post - thx Biffer! Took me longer to get round to posting this to say thx. It all brings back memories of last year searching for a wii at Christmas - but succeeded using this forum!

Apparantly they have been getting them in regularly as they are a new store but the others haven't.

* They don't offer home delivery
* They cannot transfer between stores

I've just ordered my wii fit from Amazon France as it would take me AGES to get to north London - cost me £75.94 which is the cheaper than the train tickets to London would have been and it was much quicker, but if this is good for you - Good luck!

Thanx everyone for your advice, and DAGNABIT :mad: , i've just come in from work, to see that i have missed out on the stock at Tesco....just my luck.
Also called my old fashioned, but i'm extremely nervous about ordering from France or Germany, just in case it something goes wrong, or there is some difference between those and the uk version.
Gona try and hold out a wee while longer to see if i can get one in the uk for £69.
Keep all the posts coming tho when stock appears, thats a real help, so thanx to those that do the posting :T

You're far LESS likely to have problems ordering from France or Germany than you are if ordering from some of the UK sellers on Ebay. You're also dealing with a reputable company (Amazon) and I have yet to hear of anyone having a problem ordering from abroad.

There isn't - the software on the disc detects which language your Wii is set to and adjusts itself accordingly. The main Wii Fit manual isn't in English, but that isn't a problem either as an English version can be downloaded.

The longer you wait the less chance you have of getting one in the UK as people are now starting to shop for Christmas and it's turning into a bit of a scramble. But I wish you luck!

dya think its also the case that any accessories i may buy in the future for the wii board, like rechargable battery pack for example, will also work on the french or german version?

No problem at all. The Balance Board is exactly the same, as is the software on the disc.
