hsbc have just reduced my credit card limit from 5000.00 to 3000.00 !

    My husband got a letter from Egg last month, telling him that his limit had been raised from £12000 to £13000! I can't understand it because they were withdrawing people's cards - he didn't ask for it either. He uses it for work and it has a balance of £2000 on it.

    Well they are making a profit from his by having that £2000 rolling balance.

    They probably are trying to entice him to increase that balance somewhat and hence increase their profits.
