My local (Wavertree Liverpool) Had loads of Playboy stationary stuff today @the usual giveaway prices.
There were files , folders , cartridge pens , also lovely playboy giftwrap- 29p !
Great for teenage girls .
Also jars of Sacla antipasta (sundried toms ,pesto etc) -39p !Moneysaving? - I cant stop spending because of this site!0 -
Got a few more party filler things again today, set of 4 bracelets 19p & set of 8 hair baubles 19p. Got some Dairy Milk melts for 49p, Trident Soft Tropical flavour 10p a pack or 12 packs for £1.00. Nice metal tops, plastic handles toddler cutlery sets 79p.
Also saw Disney CARS set of 3 bowls for 99p, like the Thomas ones I got last week.
Saw one Iggle Piggle wash mitt on the shelf away from anything remotley related to it, no price ticket or anything similar anywhere else (Hudds store) I know they were £4.00 at Boots though. My LO has both the Iggle Piggle & Upsy Daisy so if anyone sees the Makka Pakka one can you let me know please? Literally pretty much the full range of all the ones that are usully 3-5 quid in boots were there. Bargains!

but the best find was the Belgaravia and Tobago posh cordials- 49p, apparently rrp 2..49 iirc, Ive just had a mulled fruit one made with hot water and it was lovely! also they do a pear & mango one but Ive not tried that yet.

There is a Home Bargains opened in Rutherglen shopping Arcade, lovely big shop , big wide aisles, clean and nice staff. I wish it had opened sooner, they had lots of stuff I would have bought for Xmas!
I'll be a regular visitor there now I think.0 -
I was sad to see the close of a long standing store, but very very happy to be getting a HB 2 minutes away from work. :T
You think it's great until you get the urge every day to go in there "just to have a look" and then walk out with a bagful! I have to walk past the Manchester store every day on my way to and from work and I just can't resist taking a peek inside in case they've got any new stock in - home bargains addiction is a very serious thing lol!0 -
Are B&M the same as Home Bargains?
Reason I ask is it is rumoured they're taking on the old Woolworths site in Pontefract but Pontefract already have a Home Bargains0 -
No, they are different companies. They sell similar items. But HB seems to be a lot cheaper IMO.0
