Not sure if this has been said already (...have gone through the last few pages but couldn;t see anything), but HB are currently selling the Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature bottles 150ml twin pack (£1.99) & 340ml single pack (£1.49). I have stocked up on 6 of each but had to visit a couple of local stores to get them! Well worth it though as these retail at £7+ for the twin pack alone, so a big saving.

They are also doing the Tomee Tippee Microwave sterilser for £8.99.

And, they are also selling Disney/Winnie the Pooh baby suits, ex-Woolworths stock for £3.99 each.
  • home bargains is not linked with quality save or BM. T.J Morris only trades as home bargains

Not a current bargain, but thought I'd post this.

If you have been using it, there's no need to worry, but my daughter has just checked the small print on the Roc anti-stretch mark cream that was in HB a while ago, and found that it's not recommended for use in pregnancy or while breast-feeding. On the Roc site it says in bold:

Please note products containing Retinol should not be used during pregnancy.

So an anti-stretch mark product that's not suitable for pregnant/breast-feeding women. Brilliant!

There are both a Quality Save and Home Bargains near me that I visit and to be honest the stock they carry is almost identical and it would be hard to tell the difference between them.

Did you know about the branch in the small penny lane retail park ?

My local (Wavertree Liverpool) Had loads of Playboy stationary stuff today @the usual giveaway prices.
There were files , folders , cartridge pens , also lovely playboy giftwrap- 29p !
    Great for teenage girls .

Can I respectfully point out that IMO Playboy branded products aren't ideal for teenage girls, as the logo is advertising pornography. In addition, buying anything with the registered logo on (however much of a bargain!) is giving money to the !!!!!! industry.

As adults, we are aware of the implications of the logo and can decide for ourselves whether to support, promote and be associated with pornography by using/wearing products with the logo on. However teenagers and children do not yet have the capacity to make such an informed choice, and so as adults I feel we should be protecting young people from being unwittingly associated with the !!!!!! industry.

I just wanted to provide some food for thought and do not want to turn this thread into a discussion about Playboy - I am happy to respond to any discussion on this in Moneysavers Arms if someone starts a thread there and PMs me.

    Rant over! :)

I think it must be designed for people like me who cant stop buying junk food in HB and scoffing the lot. Not preggers, but definatley eating for at least 2  :D
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
