    I like the fresh coffee that's on in Hudds at 2 for £1.50 for a 500g pack - fab coffee and a bargain....it's in a green pack called 'Caffe Crema'....Italian coffee!

    Haha I can vouch for that, been shopping at my local Quality Save (Walkden) for about 18 or so years (starting off buying things with my pocket money as I was a lot younger then)!

    I go in twice a week and never come out empty handed.

    I didn't realise it had such a big following though, shall keep an eye on this thread from now on!

    There's bargains to be had in the toiletiries dept. Just bought Macleans "white and shine" toothpaste, 100ml for 49p.........
    price in co-op.........?? £1.89 for 50ml!! I know where I'll be buying mine from in future!!

  • I bought Appletise today for 69p, it's usually about £2.20 everywhere else. It had best before end Dec 08 on it.

    but have bought several at HB

    Also got lots of christmas sugar craft shapes and icing at S!!!!horpe branch ideal for tops of christmas buns i think 59p but not sure

    The sharpes chocolate covered fudge is yummy too @29p

    love the way people cant get away with mentioning that Northern town on here as it has a swear word in :D

    Few things from me from earlier in the week. ( northampton)

    Cotedor chocolate bars- absolutely lovely- experiences mil choc with caramelised almond peices. LUSH - 49p grabbed a handful
    Loads of nice cold drinks- gotta fridgefull now -
    tropicana spirit at 19p . minutemaid apple & mango 19p/ caprisun forest fruits 29p/ lime grove - these are really nice- lime & ginger in glass bottles- like alcopop- 19p
    Sensations share bags- they had the onion & balsamic vin flav- 45p
    cosmetic sponges - 19p
    Princes apple juice 3x cartons - 39p
    finish orange dishwasher cleaner 99p ( instead of 2.99- apparently!)
    twinings choc indulgence posh hot choc in a tin 1.99 instead of 2.99

    Loads of toys & board games including the desperate housewives one at 1.99 and the Scene it- I think was 3.99
    :beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

    Well, Home Bargains opened in Cannock this morning...my 8 year old son was very happy to have got a Doctor Who washbag for £1.59 and the Sarah Jane Adventures figure with the Slitheen child.
    Will be going back in on Tuesday when school starts again to have a proper look without being rushed ;)
