    Disappointing trip to Northampton HB today. Normally there's about 10 trolleys outside (I go fairly early) - today there was none. Spoke to a lovely assistant inside who said all but 2 had disappeared. These were obviously in use, so had my toddler on one hip and the basket in other hand - not easy! Had to limit myself to a few light things. Everything I put little one down to pick up something he either ran off or picked something up :mad:

    Will make sure I have pram in car next time which will help a little.

    Going to try and find contact details for HB to suggest they get a few more trolleys or at least some of those baskets which are on wheels.

    Looked to be lots of goodies though - couldn't mooch round the toy section for obvious reasons!
    Now proud Mumto3 :j

    Thats not good - usually Northampton has 2 rows of trolleys outside! I used to go there all the time until Wellingborough opened. But they are always short on trolleys too as people use them to shop in the centre as Iceland do not let theirs go and Wilkos have locks on the wheels if you go past the in door!
    Come on HB we need more trolleys to fill with our bargains!:rotfl:
    No buying toiletries challenge - possibly for most of 2011,2012,2013,2014,2015!
    £1 in sealed pot for each UU (2011 135/500:D) 2012 have UU 130/400 (never realised I had a mini chemist under my bed!!!) :rotfl:2013 UU 156/350. 2014 UU 197/250 2015 UU 16/100

    Nursing is a work of heart by angels in comfortable shoes!!! :)
  • No trolleys at all in Washington a few weeks ago, all been knicked apparently. I had the same toddler problem so I'm not going back till they get some.

  • Hi all!!
    Just been to HB in wellingborough for the 1st time in ages!! Went for the Nicky toilet rolls as I remembered they were always a good price! I also grabbed a 2pk of wetwipes for a £1, a 2ltr bottle of pepsi for 75/9p (can't remember which!) half price so a bargain anyway, and a 2pk of burtons jaffa cake's for 89p (again - i think!!) and a box of tissues for 39p! also 3 mini packs of chocolate eggs for the kids at 19p a bag!
    Shame i didn't have more money to spend today, but i will deffo be going back when I get paid!
    xx
    :money::money::money::money:

    Hi,

    Stafford HB has "Speed Stacks Competition Cups" for £4.99. They also had another set for £8.99 that hd a timer with it IIRC.
    Had a quick look around and couldn't find it cheaper.

    Cheers
