    In Thornaby today they had travel magna doodle - possible the one where you draw with water and it folds in half into a carry case £5.99 rrp £15ish, great for little ones to stop them getting bored when travelling - sadly mine are too old, the also had the large plush hello kitty toys.

    The magna doodle I had when younger was the one that you wrote on with a magnetic type pen or stamper and then you could erase it off by moving the slide along. It did not use water.
    No buying toiletries challenge - possibly for most of 2011,2012,2013,2014,2015!

    Kendal HB today had lots of Woolworths rain poncho`s 19p. These are wear once and throw away and great for trips to theme parks or any Great British day out!

    I just came back from our Home and Bargin Liverpool and got some lovely Miffy bunnies 99p that rattle ideal for nappy cakes or new babies .

    Allerton Rd (Liverpool) branch today had HDMI cables for just £2.99 :) - was GUTTED cos I had to dash out and buy one the other afternoon when the Virgin Media fella was fitting our new box, and cos I was in a hurry I just ran to the local electrical wholesalers, who charged me £9.95 + VAT!!! If only I'd thought of Home & Bargain!! :mad:

    Can recommend the pre-loaded MP3 players, got the 70's one some good tunes.
    There was also 80's. Lovers and exercise players.

    Found some kids flashcards today - Dora,Spongebob,Sesame Street,Backyardigans - letters, numbers, shapes, colours etc. They were hidden away and the boxes a little battered, but are brilliant. 49p each.
    Watch out for the american ones tho' - obviously the spelling's different on some of the words.
