every year HB gets a bit lack lustre
in the run up to Christmas, but I think that
is because there are so may items leaving
the shelves at break neck speed in the
run up to christmas, some of our best
bargains have come about in the last
    7 to 10 days before christmas,by then
    lots have what they need.

I am sure HB do a lot of last minute buying
just before the holiday so suddenly there is more
must have things that were simply not there
earlier.I think this is also true of the other
shops as well £ shops,99p shops etc.

Some of our best buys in the past have been bought
in the final week as I am sure there must be companys
eager to off load stock that is not going to sell in the
normal way and what better time to off load any
    way you can

Are you a poet, by any chance, Rose Kitten?

Will be on the look out for the Haynes stuff for my son and out them up for his birthday as he has way too many stocking fillers.

As previously said my local looks like the stores been raided and only empty shelves or damaged items available some days.

Have seen the coloured icing in store and they also had the writeable icing tubes - the black is a right one to use its really thick and claggy whereas the others comeout so smoothly in comparison.

bought the shipla shetty today in huyton village and its surprisingly nice.It reminds me of perfume ive had before. They had plenty left
  • Yesterday I bought the Shilpa Shetty perfume and am very happy with it, to my nose it smells quite spicy.Perfect for winter.Today I got Kelly Brook Vivacious for £3.99, it smells a bit fruitier and is,I think, perfect for everyday wear.I also bought 2 of the Royal Worcester Queen Elizabeth Diamond Wedding figures. Can't say they are the spitting image of her, but my one will sit quite happily with my Coalport and Doulton figurines.Really just looks like any lady in a wedding dress. And got a Thorntons chocolate misshapes bag, too.(Feel sick, am all chocolated out).Picked up a Haynes mug with a Triumph Spitfire on and a couple of packs of playing cards in the shape of a snowman and reindeer for 79p, I think. It is going to be sooooo easy to become addicted to this shop

never written a poem in my life

that Haynes range there is a mug 99p
and a lovely tin money box with a padlock
and two keys for 99p both worth looking
out for, thought the note pad in a tin was
    exceptional value at 39p

I assume you're referring to the fact that her posts only cover half a page width.
I raised this point quite some time ago but I never got a response, so I am still curious why this is the case.

    Hi

Which aisle were the dressing up outfits in?

    Many thanks!

I went in one store and they were next to the greetings cards & party type stuff. The today in another local store I noticed they have all the clothing together so they were in this section.

Would appear it just depends how the store is set out and where they decide to put things.
