Not sure if it's been mentioned yet.. but Leeds (merrion) had some Disney plush toys for £2.99. Very decent size and are reduced to £10 in the Disney store atm (usually £15ish?) Simba, Bambi, Thumper & Dumbo mainly. :)

For any of you out there who don't a HB near you yet, but would like one of these Disney soft toys, Semi-Chem are selling Winnie the Pooh and Tigger for £4.99 (RRP £14.99) - HTH;).
  • i have just managed to get kids PJ's disney princess for 3 quid a pair, they also had simpsons, ben 10 , the night garden , dora , also slipper socks in disney characters (2quid) and they had high school musical ones. I was a bit cheeky and opened a pack to check quality and they are cotton and look and feel lovely. May be useful to someone as i have never seen that many in stock before.

The stores around Bolton have got a HIP Amsterdam 20cm non stick frying pan.

Cost is £4.99, SEL states that it should be £14.99. The pan itself has a label on suggesting it was 24.99, and whilst this may be Euro's with the current exchange rate it's still a £20+ pan.

Bought to replace a Tefal thermospot pan it is miles better. The shape is superb and allows you to flick your food over without covering half the kitchen. So far nothing has even thought about sticking and it can be cleaned with a quick wipe with kitchen roll. Put simply it is the best frying pan I have ever used.

We were so impressed that we have bought loads more as presents, the only prob being that everyone who has seen us use ours was going to rush off and buy one so we've had to hand them out early.

The instructions are in Dutch, but I figured that I could probably get by without!

There are no symbols to suggest what sort of hob they can be used on but we have used them on gas & ceramic with no probs.

Word of warning; they are quite heavy (as you will find out if you buy 10).

Wouldn't mind getting a couple of these myself.

Oh the stress!!! I've just been into town especially to go to Home Bargains and the shutters were down
Must have been some problem in store as I'd seen people walking around with HB bags beforehand.
