This is slightly off topic but might interest any Manchester Home bargain fans...

I noticed this morning that the old woolworths in Stretford Arndale (opp Quality Save\Home Bargains) is becoming a B&Ms. :T

So... Possibly the two best bargain shops ever will be directly opposite each other and within easy reach. :D
    Aims for 2014
Drink a glass of water a day, Empty handbag at least once a week, Continue "not putting things off" and tackle things head on, Treasure people around me, Stay healthy and well away from hospitals, Continue to declutter/decorate house slowly and not get stressed because I can't do everything at once. :D

Right, this isn't as exciting as bargain toys or cheap Thorntons bars, but I can really recommend the Tessa green velcro garden cable managers at 39p for 5 (I think). RRP is something daft like £4, but they really good for tidying cables or wires. I made a huge bunny run out of wire with wooden frames - the vecro ties are great for fastening the panels together so the run can be moved around easily and making different shapes.

loads of click start games in stockton today but only dora and backyardigans
also a few of the consoles in pink
have closed the cut theough on all the isles down so you now have to go down the full isle.....more bargains to be had!!!!

just for info the b and m store is stacking its shelves so looks like its opening soon :j

Walked past today, looks like it's going to be huuuuge! Probably bigger than the Boro store. My mam was telling me earlier that once they empty the store they have a special team that goes around, fits all the shelves and puts the stock out in a couple of nights so it should be opening fairly soon too. Don't know how true this is, but looked like they were cracking on fairly quickly!
D'you know, in 900 years of space and time, I've never met anyone who wasn't important
