Not sure if this has been posted, but both the Bradford and Shipley stores are stocking quite decent looking USB optical mice for £1.99!
Think I'll pick up a couple myself just to keep in the spares drawer :j0 -

I found rolls of anti-slip matting, branded 'Shopping Channel' (from TV mail order?).
It's like a rubber mesh that you can put under carpets and rugs to stop them from slipping; or use to anchor things in place to stop them rolling about, e.g. in cars, boats etc. It cuts to size with a pair of scissors - I bought a small roll, cut four 9-inch squares from it, and used it to anchor a 6' x 4' rug. (and still got some left over!)
Small roll, in grey mesh, is 49p
Large roll, in black mesh, is 99p
The cheapest I can find it anywhere else is £3.95 plus postage, so a bargain!0 -

I bought some of this a while ago.
I have cut a couple of pieces to fit onto lap trays so that the plates don't move about and have a strip on the flat part of the dashboard in the car.0
