I'm so excited - our Home Bargains opens tomorrow! :j

They have good offers for a few weeks after opening, after that they aren't that great, you might find the odd bargain here and there now and again, but that's about it.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!
(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)

Hi, I really wouldnt bother with the hamster cage - it was really hard to put together - within a week one of the bars had snapped and the hamster made its escape every night. We had to get one from pets at home in the end - Hope that helps.

Another vaguely off-topic post - this sort of hamster cage isn't really suitable for dwarf hamsters, and gives a high likelihood of escape - much better off with a plastic cage / tank if you're going that route.

(if you don't believe me, my two roborovski dwarfs escaped out of a hole i could *barely* fit my thumb through!).

  • ianonline .... love the sense of humour, was it a grabbit from hb too?
  • Finally could not resist the luxury chocolate bars in a bag that so many of you have drooled over. Just what I needed as I sat down to watch the final furlong of the Apprentice on Sunday evening. uuurgh ...coffee!!
    All of them .............
on a positive note ....the diet is going well still:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
So bit of advice, the 1inch dome/ball shaped ones are coffee, and if you don't mind having a bit of a fondle in the shop you can avoid my disappointment. any clues to other shapes/flavours gratefully received.

sorry, this just really tickled me...I have imagines of someone just biting the edge of every bar only to discover its coffee and chucking them away one after the other with a disgusted look on their face.......I would be the same though, how disappointing ;-)

I love HB, it's almost an addiction with me, I have to go in one everyday =)
