    in home bargains this morning ( chadderton), and they had lots of supercook stuff at a reduced price, 500g bag mini marshmellows, 49p , white choc block 49p and continental chocolate blocks 49p, plus christams sprinkles 99p i think, handmade christmas daecorations cant remeber price, i think 69p, and also coloured ready to rollicing 1.29, i bought some for my hampers , snowman soup and for my baking gifts too.

    Also they had some great girls hot water bottels for £2.50homebargains004.jpg

    and these boxes at 1.99 each, they come in a yellow box, but they are lovelly wooden boxes

    Oooh I like that hot water bottle. My eldest DD has just bought my youngest DD a hot water bottle similar to that one for £8 from New Look, I actually prefer the look of that one in HB. Will have to keep an eye out for one, you can never have too many hot water bottles lol

  • horrid henry books (10 in a pack, similar but different books to this set - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Horrid-Henrys-Terrible-Tales-Henry/dp/1407200089/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1225654273&sr=8-1 ) £6.99 for the set normally £3 to £4 each.

    i also bought memory foam pillows £7.99 each don't really know if this was a good buy or not but feels pretty comfy

    In Crossgates, Leeds, today I got/saw:
    * Postman Pat 2009 annual - 49p
    * Thomas the Tank Engine DVD £1.99
    * lovely teapot, cup and saucer set in a presentation box, was a well-known make (can't remember now!) and very Cath Kidston-like - £2.99
    * lovely pink pot cake stand, ideal for buns, cakes and nappy cakes alike, £1.49
    I'll edit if I remember the other stuff!
    Property buying/selling timeline - currently into week 21
    04/12/20: Both properties listed for sale
    11/01/21: Offers accepted on both sales & on our joint purchase
    25/01/21: Identity checks completed, solicitors instructed
    27/01/21: Purchase survey & valuation complete, mortgage offer received 
    05/02/21: Reduction agreed on partner's sale (under-valuation) & on purchase. Mortgage offer amended
    08/02/21: Buyers pack returned to solicitor - sellers packs already returned
    26/02/21: Partner's sale contract signed
    10/03/21: Purchase searches all back
    16/03/21: My sale contract signed
    28/03/21: Purchase enquiries satisfied, Title Report & contracts issued, contracts signed & returned
    11/05/21: Still waiting on final enquiry in the adjoining chain to be resolved. Consent to break the chain granted, instruction to move to exchange given.
    17/05/21: All parties agreed to June 3rd for completion
    27/05/21: Exchanged on my sale only
    28/05/21: ALL EXCHANGED!

    Typhoon, that's it wendym thanks! I didn't buy one as the ones that were left had slightly damaged boxes and I wanted it for a Christmas present. Also I already had too much to carry for someone so heavily pregnant LOL!

    Just realised, it really was a bargain at £2.99 for the teapot, cups and saucers when the teapot alone is worth £12. Might have to go back, I can always mend/replace the box!
