  • The Sheffield Parkway store had some gorgeous 'orchid' sets of drawers, 4 cardboard drawers, pale green and pink, would be lovely for a girl's room or to fill with other items for a present. Either £1 or 99p each, not quite sure, I got 3 :)

just to confirm, i got one of these orchid drawers at the weekend for my living room and it looks really nice, looks expensive and was only 99p! bargain because you'd be paying a fiver any posh shop.
    recommended!
btw, they had the same drawers in a set of 'girls' - pictures of children - on each shelf, didn't like them, but may be ok for a child.
  • How big are these drawers please? Also does anyone know if the kitty in my pocket are widespread?
    Loving the dtd thread. x

They had a beautiful Linda Barker 12 piece dinner service in Prenton today for £7.99 (RRP £30). Also saw some of the Upsy Daisy dress up sets - but typically I have now already bought my little niece something else for Christmas now!

I can also recommend the Fazer Dumle toffee's. They are 49p and are in a red box. They are a chewable toffee sweet covered in chocolate - yummy :D
  • I spent about 45 mins in the Canton, Cardiff one on the weekend. I was loving it! They had three cupcake shaped bath fizzers for £1.49 which I thought would make a great addition to a hamper if anyone is making the flannel muffins like me.

They also had a kids nail varnish and stickers set with 8 little bottles for 99p. This is exactly what I've been looking for as the nail varnishes wash off with water, hopefully preventing the sort of disasters that I had with "proper" nail varnish and various carpets as a child!

So I finally got to HB this afternoon(Doncaster) and managed to pick up the last 2 Sarah Jane Smith firgures with the Graske, they didn't have any with the Slitheen child which is what I really wanted. Hopefully they get some more in, they had loads of the sonic lipsticks though but no good for boys, although my DS did look a bit annoyed when I told him he couldn't have one

Desperate Housewives Dirty Laundry boardgame £1.99, looks good but I wouldn't pay the RRP of £19.99
They still had loads of Dr Who The Masters Screwdriver, Utopia Gift Sets and Dalek Sec 12" figures all £4.99 each I think.

Now, I wonder if we can risk going to Parkway tomorrow for those other SJS figures
