Bonds and savings for charities and clubs

Hi,
I am a new member. I am a secretary of a charity and we have just over £100,000 in savings. I am having great difficulty in finding a fixed term (bond) gving high interest account. They are happy to open an account for personal customers but not for charities or clubs. No one can tell me why. We are going to split the amount into 33K tranches for safety. We want to obtain the highest interest available for this donated money - can someone help please? We are happy to tie the money for a year at least, Jes
