Trongate, Glasgow:
Got a dedicated email about these £1 Baylis & Harding Beauticology items, but can't find it!
Here's a pic from another email mentioning it.
(From Left To Right: Body Butter, Bath & Shower Creme, Fragrance Mist, Shower Scrub, and Hand Cream)
Call me a toiletries snob (as if, I shop in Poundland!!) but I've never been impressed by B&H - think they're trying to re-style themselves as Molton Brown wannabes. Might give these a go and be proven wrong!
My youngest niece is between being into cutesy and borderline-teen things, so thought she might like this hardback in with her birthday. Lemony Snicket All The Wrong Questions "When Did You See Her Last?" £1, (£12.99, Egmont Books on the back). 2nd book in a series, so will have to try to find more. On Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/When-Did-Last-Wrong-Questions/dp/1405256222
And for the youngest tot in the family, there are Peppa Pig Mini Fruits and Peppa Pig Raisins x 12 Cartons, £1.0 -
I had a successful shop at Thurrock Retail Park yesterday.
My finds were heavily Cadbury's sugar-laden: the 6-packs of Mini-Eggs as posted by LouLou, also 6 packs of Creme Eggs (both expiring at the end of this month but I'm sure will be perfectly edible after this point in time!). Also incredibly a 200g bar of Dairy Milk with 50% extra free, ie 300g for £1 with a much long expiry date.
I can't even remember what I went in there for...but I did also pick this up, retailing at £3.49+ online. Have used it on day 4 hair this morning and will report back on its effectiveness of day 5
ETA: Reporting back to say this product is just ok, no more than that, so save your £1. Baby powder would work better.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Oh yes, I forgot to say that there were lots of books in stock, including the BBC Don't Tell The Bride book in hardback (RRP £16.99). Am guessing they wanted to get rid of the stock sharp-ish when the show went to independent TV!
I bought the following in paperback, RRP £11.95 on Amazon:Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

I'd bought this product from Poundland a while ago, thinking that a facial cleanser is a facial cleanser, is a facial cleanser...silly girl! Its a dreadful product that singularly fails to get rid of make-up at the end of the day. On the plus side, I struggled to find it for sale online now which suggests to me that it has been discontinued. If you see it in Poundland, just leave it on the shelf where it belongs.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

I bought these the other day, for the sheer novelty factor:
Review here.
I expected it to be sickly-sweet (so pre-emptively diluted it with more oats), but it was anything but! Reasonably long dated too.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Spam-arama from Trongate, Glasgow earlier (just before closing at 8pm). W7 Blush With Me Colour Cubes £1, 8.5g
£6.95 from W7 themselves https://www.w7cosmetics.co.uk/products/blush-with-me-honeymoon
These were featured in a recent Poundland email, but may be news to some - Nivea Nourishing Honey Mask for dry skin, Refining Peel Off Mask for combination skin, Refreshing Moisture Mask for Normal Skin £1.
(Trongate store).
I suppose combined I spent a tenner but it was dotted around a few stores, but I *think* this offer may be in other Poundlands - "Spend £10 Or More And Get A Free Shopper Bag!" (still Trongate store):
From Argyle Street, Glasgow:
DK Readers Marvel Books £1
From Left To Right: Meet The X-Men, Fantastic Four Evil Adversaries, Spider-Man The Amazing Story, X-Men How It All Began, Iron Man Friends And Enemies, The Story Of Wolverine, Spider-Man Spider-Man's Amazing Powers and The X-Men School.
Not sure if this would excite anybody but worthwhile if your little girl can overlook the fact One Direction aren't around any more..and just play with the makeup? 50p!
Eye Shadows, Lip Glosses, Eye Pencil, Nail Varnishes. Assume it's this store only (they have plenty as there's boxes full of them underneath the display! - Argyle Street)
Not quite sure what Booger Balls are but this is a "Starter Kit", also says "30 Bonus Booger Balls included!" in Repulsive Red, Yucky Yellow and Gross Green.
Kit contains: 1 Booger Mix, 1 Booger Bath, 1 Booger Ball Tray - Argyle Street
Had a bit of a Grr! moment when I realised the £1 Corn Flakes I had bought earlier from Trongate, were reduced to 50p (same Aug 2018 Best Before Date), in Argyle Street!0 -
I thought the One Direction tin was all sealed up, just had a peek at it - it's great!! Especially for 50p!
Not sure if the shades differ for each band member - but a few blog posts imply the makeup inside is exactly the same, no matter who you choose.

Just an update on the W7 Blush With Me palettes (if you can call them that) - the Trongate store actually has the Honeymoon option as well, just my poor eyesight couldn't make out there were three varieties!
*Edited the post on Page 357 to show a better picture, of all three tins.
Also got these from Trongate, Glasgow:
The Feel Good Drinks Co Infusions - Still Water With A Hint Of Strawberry And Mint (they also have Apple And Rose variety) 400ml, 3 For £1
(Sauchiehall Street had the Apple And Rose option last week).
20 Calories a bottle! Think I'll prefer this Strawberry option - yet to try it.0 -
Seems the One Direction makeup tins are 50p in all stores:

(think the one above ^^ is the older one, which gets mixed reviews?)
(this one ^^ is the makeup tin I bought).0
