    Where...? Spill please.

I went in this evening despite my better judgement (ie in the full knowledge that I had no discount voucher) and spent £9 - bought some huge plastic planters and another 5 baby oil gels. Just as well as my mum tells me she has run out.

Googled it - nothing. Not prepared to go through other people's recycling so don't see an obvious solution.

Well it's not as bad as you make it sound.

PAPER BANKS - when they're full to bursting (very frequently), newspapers are hanging out left, right and centre.

You can often see exactly the one you are looking for without "diving in".
You only need to pull it out.
IF you're that concerned put your Marigolds on.

Some years ago when the Sun were celebrating some "birthday" or other, they had a giveaway of "collect 5 tokens and redeem at the Co-op for a bottle of wine"

Over about a 10 day period I collected 47 bottles :rotfl:
    Proseco, Cava and many others.
Cheapest was £9.99, some as expensive as £14.99
I've still got a few bottles left

And when SUN PERKS was first launched ....

    £5 Tesco Gift Cards ....

    .... somewhere between 25 and 30 of them :j

This was a very good thing to do until recently. Our council decided that instead of a paper bag/box for papers it was now going to give us a Blue small wheeled bin. In goes paper and clean cardboard. As the bin is quite large many residents don't empty it fortnightly and wait until it is full. The paper bank near the ASDA is forever empty now and I fear is not as used as it was. I too got many a local weekly newspapers free (a few days after release) and many womens magazines. Now Ziltch!

Their '3' pack Kitchen Corner 'Kitchen scissors' are surprisingly good.

Lovely colours and plastic/rubber feel handles.

Bought another pack so have one within reach!
  • On Saturday I picked up some Rimmel make-up, including Apocalips Lip gloss and Scandaleyes eyeliners and eyeshadows. And I grabbed some gel eyeliner that comes in a pack with a brush.

They are slightly smaller sizes than the standard but great for stocking fillers and to try things out before you buy the full size :)

They also had some Sally Hansen nail polishes.

I went into a different store today, in a kind of retail/outlet park.

They had a really good choice of DVDs lots of big titles, Quentin Tarantino films, not just action, things like Little Miss Sunshine and Sideways which are great films. A good mix.

They also had IBA reed diffusers http://www.ebeez.co.uk/products/iba-reed-diffuser-tropical-jardin-and-white-flower-fragrances.html. I didn't get these but picked up the candles a few weeks back and the fragrances are nice.
